But it is. A twelve your old boy died from a toothache this past weekend.
There are times when I think: ok, soon, soon, very soon, people are going to catch on, they're going to realize it would be a good thing - morally and pragmatically - to give universal health insurance, including dental. And then I start thinking: I bet they already know, and they just don't care...

This is completely horrible. I could identify immeditealy because once, due to personal negligence, I allowed a cavity to develop into an abscess. I developed a headache one day from which I nearly fainted, and the dentist told me the infection had almost reached the sinus, which could have actually killed me on the spot.
Even in Holland, which has a fairly good free medical system, dental protection is so expensive that many people choose to have their teeth plucked out instead of having them fixed.
This article should be spread around.
