Fascism Today?

Let me make something clear: unconstitutional domestic surveillance isn't evidence of fascism in this country; the contortions that so many pundits and partisans go through to justify that surveillance is.

true. very insightful. excellent analysis. not unlike this comment. as a side note, while i agree with you, if pressured i'm totally turning your ass in to the government when they come asking for unamerican activities. and my ability to turn you in to save myself, well, that my friend, is the essence of America. woo hoo, freedom!
